My Worldwide Anthropocene

Anthropocene I wrote three months ago!

Humans are the highest contributors to why many disasters have been happening on this earth, an era where the earth's temperature is not stable anymore. A group of scientists has been studying what’s been rapidly causing climate change globally. One of the studies shows that we are entering a geological era where they called it Anthropocene, meaning the rise of mankind and their activities.  Human overconsumption of carbon dioxide or CO2 has been the highest contributor to the earth's rapidly changing temperature that’s causing, volcanic eruptions, floods, and earthquakes. As our oceans rise from melting snowcaps threatening a great flood the oceans have also been used as dumpsters of plastics that’s been killing fish and aquatic species while polluting our earth's largest habitat. Humankind is being choked in an atmosphere that is high in CO2 and also the mass extinction of some animals has occurred due to humankind putting so much CO2 in the atmosphere. The forest fires will also have a big impact on humankind as a drier climate is more prone to burn. As acres of land is set ablaze in record size fires mankind as a whole is as destructive as the asteroid element that perhaps wiped out the era of the dinosaurs.  Welcome to a world that can now be summed up in two simple words…Profitable Extinction.

In the age of Profitable Extinction, there is a lesson that we can learn from traditional culture as we transition into the era of Anthropocene. The main lesson that should be the most important is society's model has failed and only war can change it. World Wars 1 and 2 were almost successful, but the important lesson we can learn from these wars is that the next people waging war can not stop until the planet has been conquered. The problem is with mass war to eliminate the masses and governments responsible for the problems leading up to this Extinction level event will also be an E.L.E. The very bombs that wipe out the people that are more worried about making money than saving the planet will certainly destroy the very environment that we are trying to save.  Simply put were doomed. In less than 100 years if we don’t destroy ourselves in all-out war, then we will simply destroy ourselves with environmental pollutions and disasters.

After the coming War, there will be worldwide food shortages that will change where people live as the very crops that are being produced today are so poisoned with cancer-causing pesticides like round-up weed killer, and mineral deprived soil, that sickness and weakness will cause people to fight over the last of the unspoiled farmlands…but there are no more unspoiled farmlands for all the land has now been polluted and burned during the war not to mention that the heavy farming machinery has also been destroyed in the war. The very water that we try to drink if not radioactive from the war will be so polluted that the calories it cost to purify the water will be greater than the sweat that the new water replaces thus never coming out ahead. There won't be any trees left for firewood anyway to burn a fire long enough to purify any water. After the World war there will be civil war and warlords will emerge to control the last of the food and water until death emerges as the dominant force on the planet. The houses that people were living in during these times if not burned, bombed, vaporized, or disintegrated will be all but looted and destroyed for firewood to purify the last of the water, and for any food or supplies that might be hiding within. Disease, famine, and starvation combined with plague, sickness, pandemics, and death will sweep the land all but causing a chaotic extinction of the world as we know it.

It was after this time a new breed of anthropologists will arrive to help to save the planet, however, they will be too late to help save mankind. As these alien Archeologists and explorers arrive in their spaceships to try and find out what happened to this once great world civilization they will end up with more questions than answers. Who were these mysterious creatures here on this planet that left almost no trace of existence? What was their main form of communication as all remnants of written language such as books have been burned for firewood, all computers melted down for scrap metal as there was no more electricity grid to power them, and all knowledge on the internet was destroyed in the war leaving no clues to how they communicated, the homes that they once lived in were demolished in great fires, and the most important question of all, what happened to these people that caused such a mass extinction event to occur?
